ABOUT B3 BICYCLES

B3 Bicycles was founded by Max Burson, a student studying wood technology at Pittsburg State University. Max sought to combine his love of woodworking and bicycles while also using his talents to create functional pieces of art. While studying wood technology Max learned a wide variety of skills relevant to creating wood bicycles such as: primary wood processing, machine woodworking, wood science, fundamentals of woodworking, finishing, tool technology, Drafting and Design, Computer automated manufacturing and Engineered wood products.
